The day will be split into six sessions:
Introduction to the capabilities of BizTalk Server 2009: In this session Garth Pickup, Solidsoft CEO will discuss the capabilities of BizTalk in the areas of enterprise application integration (EAI), trading partner integration (TPI), enterprise service bus (ESB) and service oriented architecture (SOA) illustrated with real customer examples.
A demonstration of BizTalk Server in action including
BizTalk Server 2009: In this session Charles Young, Solidsoft
principal consultant and BizTalk MVP will explain the architecture and
building blocks of BizTalk 2009 and how it works in practice.
Introduction to the capabilities of SharePoint 2007:
In this session Mark Usher, Solidsoft SharePoint practice director
will discuss the capabilities of SharePoint in the areas of enterprise
content management (ECM), enterprise search, workflow and business forms,
business intelligence (BI), collaboration and portals illustrated with real
customer examples.
A demonstration of SharePoint 2007 in action: Andy James, Solidsoft CTO joins Mark Usher to explain SharePoint’s technical architecture and to show in real time a number of SharePoint’s fundamental building blocks in action.
Working together - a demonstration of BizTalk Server and SharePoint in collaboration: Building on previous sessions Andy and Mark will build an end to end solution utilising InfoPath, SharePoint’s workflow capabilities and BizTalk, following which they will explore BizTalk’s business activity monitoring capability rendering the results in a dashboard hosted in SharePoint.
BizTalk & SharePoint futures: In this session Charles Young will outline what the future holds for BizTalk and SharePoint.Why Solidsoft?
