Please stop by at our stand and talk to Pam, Mark and Charles about how Solidsoft and Cloud Computing can:
Transform your Business
Develop Competitive Advantage
Develop a more agile response to business threats and opportunities through innovation
Improve collaboration and empowerment
The convergence of consumerisation and connectivity has created an era in which business moves and evolves at an unprecedented rate. In a world where ‘first movers’ gain the competitive advantage, innovation, agility, responsiveness and empowerment are some of the ‘must have’ qualities when it comes to differentiating yourself from the competition.
Many business leaders believe that today’s unwieldy IT infrastructures have become too complex and fragile for the pace and dynamism of modern day business. With users clamoring for faster response times and management demanding lower costs, Cloud Computing holds real promises of agile, efficient IT service delivery that could reduce complexity and lead to greater business responsiveness and competitive advantage.
Cloud services enable faster time to market and reduced set up costs through faster IT deployments and end-user self-service. End users, empowered by the self-service aspect of the Cloud react quickly to changing business conditions. And with complex business transactions, legacy systems and red tape out of the way, employees are free to innovate, enhance and improve.
But alongside all the well-known benefits of the Cloud, it is important that end users understand, prepare for, and mitigate any risks. As you well know, at the end of the day it all comes down to risks versus rewards, and savvy business leaders will want to evaluate their options carefully to ensure a safe and secure passage to the Cloud. Not only that, they’ll want to make sure they get the strategy right- from the outset to give them the edge over their competitors. The 7th and 8th Cloud Circle Forums 2011, Transform your Business with Cloud Computing, for Competitive Advantage; agile response to business threats and opportunities through innovation, collaboration and empowerment, provides a safe, open and relaxed environment to do just that.

Solidsoft will be supporting the DWP promote the Tell Us Once programme at this important event.

“Tell Us Once is the award winning cross-government programme that allows people to inform central and local government just once of a birth or bereavement.”
Following a successful pilot with over 40 local authority areas helping almost 50,000 people, the birth and bereavement Change Reporting System (CRS) is now being rolled out across the country.
The system allows details of a birth or death to be collected once and shared with the government departments and local authority services that need to know. The system is used by both local authority staff delivering the face-to-face service and telephone advisers.
More than 90% of authorities have committed to offer the service by the end of 2011 to deliver significant time savings to citizens and service efficiency to the authority.
Solidsoft who have delivered successful systems integration to more than 30 local authorities and their expertise has been recognised with multiple global industry awards, towards the end of 2011 CRS Release B will allow citizens to access an online self-service channel through the Directgov website to report a bereavement, providing integrated electronic notifications to local and central government IT systems.
Tell Us Once is a defining programme in the culture of service delivery, aspiring to extend the service to include other changes in circumstance and embrace organisations such as hospitals, banks, insurance companies and the utility services.
